(Journal Sentinel) –Shaina Perry remembers the punch to her face, blood streaming from a cut over her eye, her backpack with her asthma inhaler, debit card and cellphone stolen, and then the laughter.
“They just said ‘Oh, white girl bleeds a lot,” said Perry, 22, who was attacked at Kilbourn Reservoir Park over the Fourth of July weekend.
Though Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn noted Tuesday that crime is colorblind, he called the Sunday night looting of a convenience store near the park and beatings of a group of people who had gone to the park disturbing, outrageous and barbaric.

Perry was among several who were injured by a mob they said beat and robbed them and threw full beer bottles while making racial taunts. The injured people were white; the attackers were African-American, witnesses said.

Not far away, 20 to 25 friends from Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood had gathered at the park shortly before midnight to watch some fireworks set off by a neighbor. In interviews with 11 people who said they were attacked or witnessed the attack, a larger group of youths appeared in another section of the park around midnight and were joined by more young people running up the park’s stairs.At some point the group of friends and the group of youths intersected; those interviewed said the attack appeared to be unprovoked.

Minutes later Bublitz saw a male friend hit in the temple and fall down. Her fiance told her to run to safety. James Zajackowski, 28, said things suddenly turned chaotic.“Within 30 seconds to a minute, bottles were flying and people started getting punched. I was in shock. I thought, ‘Really? Is this really happening?’ I was on the ground, people were trying to get into my pockets, I could feel their hands but I held on to my cellphone and my wallet,” said Zajackowski, a census worker.
Emily Mowrer, 27, was not hurt but saw her friends beaten and punched and full beer bottles thrown at them. Her boyfriend was punched. She saw Perry lying with blood on her face, not moving. She called 911 on her cellphone.
…..”It didn’t seem like it was a mugging – it seemed like an attack. Like they weren’t after anything – just violence.”
Andy Lange, 29, a social worker who has lived in Riverwest for 10 years, said one of his friends was hit in the head with a bottle and needed staples to close the wound. Lange said he was struck in the face and didn’t even see who hit him.
Perry needed three stitches to close a cut above her eye. She said she saw a friend getting kicked and when she walked up to ask what was happening, a man punched her in the face.
Adding egregious insult to vicious injury, police on the scene ignored complaints and are pretending that it was not a mob of assailants:
“You’ve got 20-plus people giving eyewitness accounts. I’m very surprised that they said it wasn’t a mob,” said Mowrer.

“About 20 of us stayed to give statements and make sure everyone was accounted for. The police wouldn’t listen to us, they wouldn’t take our names or statements. They told us to leave. It was completely infuriating,” Bublitz said.

It may be a good idea to start carrying wasp spray to ANY activities. That will slow down attackers. Spray it in their eyes, it will blind them for several hours but cause NO lasting damage.

If the individuals that perpetrated these crimes are caught will they face “hate crimes” prosecutions?

STOPPING FLASH MOB & GROUP ATTACKS.
If you listen to me Flash Mobs OR Group Attacks will be stopped and or deterred! First make it illegal for any store to operate without video cameras. From the mom & pop to the big big stores! FIRST:
1. If a cop capture any one of the participants in the Flash Mob 0r Group Attackers). That person will be charge a thousand dollars for each of the other participants plus his or herself!
2. The only way the person capture can reduce their fine is by identifying other participant in the Flash Mob..or Group Attackers!
3. The videotape of the Flash Mob be shown daily on every news channel until all are capture!
4. If someone from the public identify a Flash Mob participant. That person would be paid two thousand dollar by the person he or she identify!
5. NO jail time if the Flash Mob “or Group Attackers participant DO NOT have a weapon¦Instead the participant if not in school must get a high school diploma. If he or she has one they must get a college degree two or four year degree. Then paid their fines!
6. If they drop out there fine must be paid in 6 months¦..if not paid¦.. 5 days in jail then another 6 month to paid and another $1,000…repeat until paid!
7. Any violation during sentence will result in repeating sentence and double fines!
NOTE Create a web page and publish the participants picture and their status…Whether they been capture or still at large! The Department of Correction must create a uniform program. Where Flash Mob & Group Attackers are sentence to wear a yellow uniform for the amount of time sentence or until fines are paid. These uniform will be wore everyday! The uniform will state the crime the participant is sentence to! It would also have the inmates number. Law Enforcement must learn that jail and prison is not a solution to all criminal acts! Matter of fact in my opinion jail and prison create a better criminal and the public pays many times over! First the public pays by the crime¦Then by placing the criminal in jail or prison.. For the past couple of months “Flash Mobs” have been in the news Philly ,New York and Chicago. What bother me is how Mayor Nutter and Charles H. Ramsey Chief of Police handle police brutality against citizen! The country witness a white Philadelphia police officer shot himself, then blame the shooting on a black man. The public also saw a video beating of handcuffed unarmed black men. Chief Ramsey was worthless as a leader in correcting the police brutality!Then it’s the needless murder of Sean Bell! The Philly leadership is worthless in correcting and or stopping police brutality! They will just blame parent for Flash Mobs then impose a curfew!

One thing’s for sure: when it comes to attracting attention for police brutality and excessive force, as well as corruption and other questionable practices, no police department across the United States has been as notorious as the Chicago Police Department, at least in 2007.
And there’s a good reason for their notoriety. As a recent CNN article reported, statistics show that between 2002 and 2004, more than 10,000 complaints were filed against City of Chicago police officers. Of course, you must keep in mind that, according to FBI crime reports, the city of Chicago arrested nearly 600,000 persons in the same time period.
A surveillance video at Jessie’s Shortstop Inn Tavern shows a man brutally beating a female bartender, and this man turned out to be 12-year Chicago police veteran Anthony Abbate. After beating the woman and causing her personal injury, Abbate reportedly threatened to arrest any of the bar patrons who reported him. According to news reports on the incident, the Chicago Police Department tried to hide the offense, first by offering the victim money not to prosecute, then by charging the officer with a misdemeanor count without informing the State’s Attorney’s Office. It came out in the investigation that Abbate had prior DUI-related offenses, as well as arrests for drag racing and driving on a suspended license before he became a cop.
So the truth is these “Flash Mobs’ ( which I hate) is just as mad as police brutality in America! Police officer in America operate with know respect for policy or protocol!

Jackson, Mississippi (CNN) — On a recent Sunday morning just before dawn, two carloads of white teenagers ” Flash Mob” drove to Jackson, Mississippi, on what the county district attorney says was a mission of hate and pure evil: to find and or hurt or kill a black person.
In a parking lot on the western side of town they found their black victim. A hard working American citizen that loved his country and his family!
James Craig Anderson, a 49-year-old auto plant worker, was standing in a parking lot, near his car. The teens allegedly beat Anderson repeatedly, kicking him in his head and chest yelling racial epithets, including “White Power!†according to witnesses.
Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith says a group of 12 white teens then climbed into their large Ford F250 green pickup truck, floored the gas, and drove the truck right over Anderson, killing him instantly.
Killing the black man! Not just beating a black man killing him! To date the Mayor of Jackson has not attacked the parent or blame them for not watching their children better! There was no going to church and critcizing all white teens! You didn’t here the Mayor criticizing the dress or all white teens hateful tatoos! There was no telling them they where a disgrace to their race! No teen was told to pull up your pants!
