Meet the Face of #OccupyOakland Riot “All My Heroes Kill Cops” [Photo]

The face of Occupy Wall Street was a punk defecating on a police car.

The face of Occupy Oakland worships cop killers.

What would the response be if that sign said “Nazis” instead of “cops”?

    • Velvet Hammer velvethammer says:

Gee, I don’t know skippy. Why don’t you ask your comrades in the American Nazi Party.

Or to better hit home. You could replace your group in place of ‘cops’. What would your response be then?
Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.

      • AJ says:

Did you really just use comrades, American, and Nazi in the same sentence to describe one group? You’re comparing the OWS protesters to Nazis, and then you’re comparing Nazis to communists, and then communists to OWS protesters? What, that doesn’t make any logical sense? Could you explain that? Nazis are fascist, technically anyone who wants to oppress the OWS protesters would be a “Nazi” in this movement, since the Nazis want things as they are. Or were, because we can’t continue on this track. Look at where it’s gotten us. And I don’t blame Obama, though it seems he hasn’t done much at all. Except for getting rid of DADT, I like that one… I don’t support any republican candidate, Obama is the least worst choice in my eyes. There isn’t a good choice. Anyway, the “communists” just want to get us away from whatever the heck happened and try to do anything. There are many different opinions, but everyone knows the main point of this protest. “Get Corporations Out of Politics.”

What would you propose be done? Vote away our problems, sit back, and watch?

          Well if the shoe fits…

But clue to the fool, the American Nazi Party is a group. Thus my usage of “American”
And since you obviously have to be led around by the nose, allow me to explain.

No I did not. Do you think before you type?

Did you really just say that?

A large contingent of communists and socialists are among the ranks of OWS. Like it or not, each and every OWS member is in bed with communists, socialists, nazis and anarchists.

There are many different opinions, but everyone knows the main point of this protest. “Get Corporations Out of Politics.”

          Dance puppet dance.

I am so tired of playing games with ignorant people like you, who always twist everything around. Does straightforwardness and honesty repulse you? Or are you thick as a brick?

AJ, apparently you don’t understand that the NAZI party stood for National SOCIALIST Party. Socialist=Communist.
You should go back to school and study up a bit on your history. Obama=socialist….you do the “math”

so the democratic peoples republic of korea must be a democratic republic right? the nazis use of ‘socialist’ was opportunistic, the actual socialists and communists in germany at the time fought them in the streets and eventually were sent to concentration camps.

          • VB says:

David how did we raise these retards? Why dont these Socialists go to China or Cuba or anywhere else but here. We have paid enough for your stupidity! Enough is enough. My tax dollars pay for your ignorant protests. Your parents if they ever worked paid taxes and probably have money invested in Wall street. Wall street influences politics? Why not? They have the same rights as everyone else do they not? Unions influence politics and send money all the time. Any issues with that? Ohh waite yes Unions send money without consulting the individuals members that pay into the union. Wall street contributions are strictly individual. Hey Protesters I think you’re confused again!

    A) You picked one sign out of hundreds and called it “the face of #Occupyoakland”, and you picked what is arguably the most extreme of them.

    B) That picture of the cop car is from the Oscar Grant riots last year.

The protesters last night were peaceful and I have yet to hear any reports of property destruction. There was no riot, unless you count the unprovoked violence of the 17 police forces assembled to trample on our liberties.

You don’t deserve to fly the Don’t Tread on Me flag – you can’t see free will and free speech when it smacks you right on the face.

“Unprovoked” Riiiiight! Throwing projectiles INCLUDING M-80′s , rocks and glass bottles is NOT unprovoked, OR peaceful.

Waaaaaaaa! Our squalid illegal shanty town was torn down. Waaaaaaaaa! What a bunch of whiny bitches.

  6. Pablo Abrante says:

I’ve never been to Oakland and I condemn hostile bottle-throwing and other violence against the police. It’s evident that Occupy Oakland has a far larger population of druggies and communists than any Occupy protests I’ve been to.

The majority of the protestors at Occupy Miami are Obama dissenters, myself included, and a notably large group are Ron Paul supporters. The Occupy protests are constantly criticized for having no direction due to countless opinions and then cast out for having uniform anti-capitalist ideaology. Dissatisfaction expressed through protest almost inevitably attracts the hippies and extremists. I do not even know how to have a conversation with people who think the answer is the political system that robbed all of my grandparents of their property and ravaged their freedom, but I want a more transparent and ethical political system.

If others feel that is supposed to be obtained by literally taking all of the money from the rich and giving it to the poor, they do not stand for me. There are thus certainly good-hearted protestors in Oakland for whom this sign does not stand.

    • Velvet Hammer velvethammer says:

Solidarity: unity (as of a group or class) that produces or is based on community of interests, objectives, and standards.
      http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/solidarity?show=0&t=1319683838

All Occupy groups across the country have expressed solidarity with each other. Which include large numbers of communists and socialists.
Perhaps you and others like you should re-think your position within the Occupy collective.

      • Andrew Z. says:

Velvethammer, I have to disagree with you there.

Sympathy and solidarity, as you speak of them in the ‘Occupy’ element, are by no means the same thing as what this Pablo fellow seems to stand for.

Being aware of a political system and its failures and advantages, and not wholly agreeing with it, does not mean that one is to “re-consider” participation in a protest that stands for an open environment in which thoughts can be shared – whether they be anarchist, environmentally-savvy, communist, or conservatively liberal (yes, this exists.)

Intolerance of thought is intolerance nonetheless, whether it be aggressive, as of the Oakland protesters, musing, like Abrante’s inability to carry a conversation with one whose ideas are opposite to what he and his family value, or organizational, as your proposal for his reconsideration of participation.

My stances are not to be discussed, for I appreciate the idea of the movement but not all the people in it. I appreciate the information, and your time.

And now the Police have really f’d up… Scott Olsen.

OPD will start dying; piece by piece, a cop car here, a cop’s house there.

Marines and Vets are better trained and hardened than pretty much any PD.

OPD better clean this up quick or watch their asses.

    • Velvet Hammer velvethammer says:

Scott Olsen is a big boy he participated in the agitation so that was the chance he took.
      They were WARNED.

      MSNBC:

Scott Olsen, 24, suffered a fractured skull Tuesday in a march with other protesters toward City Hall, said Dottie Guy, of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. The demonstrators had been making an attempt to re-establish a presence in the area of a disbanded protesters’ camp when they were met by officers in riot gear.

It’s not known exactly what type of object struck Olsen or who might have thrown it, though Guy’s [Dottie Guy, of the Iraq Veterans Against the War --Ed.] group said it was lodged by officers. Several small skirmishes had broken out in the night with police clearing the area by firing tear gas and protesters throwing rocks and bottles at them.

Olson could of been a victim of friendly fire.
