(WFTV) On the steps of Sanford City Hall, members of the New Black Panthers party handed out “wanted dead or alive” fliers that had Zimmerman’s picture.
“The Black Panthers didn’t come her to divide people. They are already divided. We came today because we are making an appeal: do justice. Our children are tired of being shot dying and murdered,” said member Minister Mikhail Muhammad.

The bounty announcement came just moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 5,000 black men to capture George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin last month.
Yep, that is just what this country needs is a 5,000 strong, angry vigilante mob roaming the streets.
Update 2: This report from the Orlando Sentinel claims the NBP’ers are asking for the mobilized of a mob of 10,000, not 5,000. It could be a typo. Also from the sound of it, violence is an option. Lynch mob?

When asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly saying: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin last month.
Muhammad said members of his group would search for Zimmerman themselves in Maitland and Jacksonville — where the 28-year old worked before the shooting, employees there told the Orlando Sentinel. But he declined to say when they will begin their hunt.
Muhammad said the group’s national chairman, Dr. Malik Zulu Shabaz of Washington, D.C. is receiving donations from black entertainers and athletes. They hope to collect $1 million by next week, Muhammad said.
The party said they would not release the names of donors nor would they provide documentation to support the existence of donations.

Sanford resident James Tucker said the party’s message is about vengeance not justice and will rouse a “lynch mob” that could spiral out of control into a race riot.
Of course that is a possibility, stoking the flames as they have been. And probably exactly what the militants want…a race riot.

Obama took a moment to further incite emotions in this case by declaring the victim, Trayvon Martin, looked just like his own son would look if he had one.
Did you mean black, Mr. President Barrack “The Uniter” Obama? Instead of representing Americans as a whole, instead of defending the Constitution, instead of ensuring Zimmerman’s rights are protected, the President of the United States has taken sides, based only on skin color.

If we, the majority….well, I was sitting with some black women the other day and one proclaimed that black women are doing their best to change that situation….in her words “we will overtake the majority because we keep having babies.” In other words, out breed the whites. Surprise, I have plenty of black friends as well as other races. But, still when I hear the Black Panthers say that they will kill “whities even the babies….” it makes my blood run cold. What usually happens is that these people mean well. they start out good, and end up killing black people. Look at the history of these groups.

The one thing all of the comments (videos, the article and readers’ comments) have in common – FEAR. Every person making irrational, angry and hateful comments is afraid. There are cowards trying to rule over other weaker cowards. Are you going to let yourself become one of those weaker cowards? We all have the ability to think rationally and think for ourselves. Don’t let others do the thinking for you. Don’t fall victim to a heightened state of fear and lies. You want things to get better? Work within our communities. Speak up to change a bad situation! This is a national problem! ALL of us need to stop blaming one another and see what it is the we can each do individually to make it better. This back and forth is going to make all of us weaker. There is good and bad in EVERY single race on this planet. We have to step outside of our “comfort zones” and see the reality. It’s easy to point the finger. It’s easy to pull the trigger.
