Obama Plays The Fundraising Pauper But Is He?

Behold the boy king’s whine:

I 'hope' you will give me your spare 'change'. Pleeease! I am begggging you!

(Fox) –President Obama, the most prolific fundraiser in U.S. presidential campaign history, returned Saturday to a fundraising strategy that increasingly appears more like tin cup rattling.

Since losing the monthly fundraising battle for the first time in May to Mitt Romney, the president appears to have changed his fundraising strategy to suggest he’s just trying to keep pace.

“We might not out raise Mitt Romney,” the president said Saturday in an email to supporters. “But I am determined to keep the margin close enough that we can win this election the right way.”

Earlier this week, Obama sent an email to supporters that started, “I will be outspent.”

“I will be the first president in modern history to be outspent in his re-election campaign, if things continue as they have so far,” the fundraising letter continued. >>>

Waaaaaaaa! Your mistake was running for a second term. This isn’t 2008 where you are swooping in under a cloak of secrecy and false bravado. Your Teflon coating is peeling off. No longer the pied piper figure that you once were playing a hypnotizing tune of hope and change. The emperor has…no…clothes.

Moving along, let’s take a peek at the fundraising totals for both candidates as of May 31, 2012. Obama had the edge over Romney on both fundraising totals and debt owed. His dramatic beggary is a mere month after these totals were calculated. Nerves kicking in?

It will be interesting to see the totals as the election grows closer. The recent SCOTUS ObamaCare decision gave Romney a 24 hour windfall of 4.2 million, after he had pledged to repeal the massive Obama power grab, that is rife with a vast array of taxes.

In May, the DNC raised $60 million compared to $76.8 million by the RNC.

Obama fervor seems to be growing more and more lukewarm as time goes by. Once his regime is deposed, he can always go back to community agitating. Or round up the frayed ranks of teh Occupiers, and become their fearless leader. Ha. Ha.
