A president’s Job Approval rating is one of the best indicators for assessing his chances of reelection. Typically, the president’s Job Approval rating on Election Day will be close to the share of the vote he receives. Currently, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s job performance. That matches the president’s lowest level of approval in 2012. Approval has been this low on seven days earlier in the year.
Fifty-four percent (54%) at least somewhat disapprove (see trends).
Currently, 22% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -23 (see trends). This is the president’s lowest Approval Index rating of 2012.

I have relatives in PA who absolutely HATE Obama……. And they’re now saying they will NOT vote for Romney because of the commercials they’re seeing about your taxes and Bain. I hate to be a doomsayer, but I think that those numbers, and others will continue to go down. Then, soon before the election will go back up, inspiring more people to vote for him. some of the polls are done with a 9 percent more dems than rep and ind. also i think some people arnt telling tthe truth. many people feel that if they say they arnt voting for obama, people will say they are racist. and i think alot dont want to admit to buyer’s remorse. but many of them i think or hope they will change their minds when they get to the voting booth or not vote.
