  1. They never had class before … Why start now? Pitiful. Downright pitiful :(

  2. Ken Latham says:

When CNN calls out the lies…..what does that say about the campaign

  3. Can we blame President Obama for the deaths due to people out of work, who lost their insurance who got sick and died?

  4. She had insurance. The main reason she died is she did not see the doctor soon enough. It was her own stubborn stupidity, not the lack of health insurance. Just another Obama lie.

  5. Don Williams says:

As usual a lie by the Obama re-election committee.

Mr Romney left Bain long before GST Steel’s 2001 bankruptcy but Obama’s team argues that the story is fair because Romney was at Bain when the initial investment was made. And Politico notes that the man’s wife died in 2006, from lung cancer 5 years after the company closed.

Romney spokesman Ryan Williams called the ad one of many “discredited and dishonest attacks” meant to “conceal the administration’s deplorable economic record. I agree wholeheartedly. The Obama campaign continues to set a new low for Lying, Cheating, Thuggery and Deceit.

  6. ok – as Mark Levin has asked, is Obama responsible for all the deaths that have and will result from CAFE standards for which he’s responsible? For his FDA regulations that prevent cures from reaching the market? The answer is, by his standard, YES.

  7. LMAO, How absurd. Dumb as Dirt Liberals will try and spin most anything to their advantage, it doesn’t matter if its true or not. Whats wrong Losers, its not enough your Choice pays for his votes with decite or with empty promises or better yet, Cold Hard Cash. Liberals have to know by now that its them that are Lible for America’s Financial collaspe.

  8. He left in 1999 and she died in 2006 they saved the country for quiet a few yrs, all the steel mills failed at this time, guess who was in charge of Bain at this time, One of Owebamas big bundlers, who raises money for him, this is a new low on lies .

  9. obama has just set the bar. If Romney is responsible for everything that has ever happened during and after he was at Bain, then obama is responsible for all of the casualties and victims that are a result of federal gov’t regulations, policies, programs, and bureaucracies. Good to know.

  10. Jon Colson says:

Ken….CNN NY Times and several other left wing “news” sites.

  11. John Kostick says:

    Liar Liar, pants on Fire!

  12. Lisa Alonso says:

Obama and his cronies are running scared and have to resort to making up every kind of lie imaginable! This is ludicrous! Really Obummer? Really? You are such a lowlife, you and your liberals are destroying our beautiful country!!! Please leave and become dictator of Cuba! We don’t need you communism here!!!

  13. wish he would be quiet

  14. You have to have CLASS TO KEEP IT CLASSY

  15. Tim Martin says:

Typical Obama blame and smear tactic. When CNN calls out Obama, .you know it didn’t take much digging to find the lies. This is an outrage. When are people going to understand that even IF Romney had anything to do with closing this plant, it was his job at the time to try to recover companies, or to minimize loss. The fact is, if the company had not been failing already, Bain capital would not even have been involved! And to make it sound like Bain capital caused this woman’s cancer is just absurd. Yes, it is sad she got cancer, and sad she died, . but that has NOTHING to do with anything Romney did!

  16. My dad was diagnosed with cancer the day Obama was elected, Soooo I want that put on CNN as Obamas fault……

  17. This Super PAC should be ashamed for such a false and misleading ad! Joe Soptic should also be ashamed for using his wife’s memory in such a deceitful way! How disrespectful and shameful!! Poor woman, God rest her soul.

  18. Amos Wong says:

Hi guys, here is a link i discovered last night (and comments I left on legalinsurrection.com) http://www.libradex.com/viewArticle.aspx?id=130 Egads my head is spinning from deluge of information I just stumbled on. My search for “Joe Soptic Union” eventually led me to the libradex! “Contract talks foundered and the union went on strike in April 1997. The first standoff since 1959 quickly turned nasty. Workers shot bottle rockets at security guards, tossed nails in the roadways to flatten the tires of nonunion trucks and pounded on the windows of vehicles as they left the plant. After 10 weeks, the two sides reached a deal that boosted pensions and ensured that workers would get health and life insurance in the event of a shutdown.”

  19. Amos Wong says:

Liberty, please spread this around. i know it’s a tangent to Joe’s wife, but as soon as i saw his “30 years at the plant” my imediate reaction was to search for Joe Soptic’s union affiliations. Sure enough, it’s union hack-o-rama!!

  20. Mr. Odom, I watched a video of Nancy Pelosi slandering Republicans, saying that Republicans want children to get E. Coli. Can the Republican Party sue her, Reid and Obama for slander?

  21. Eric Odom says:

    @ Rusty Shackleford

    Good question

Obama Campaign: We Don’t Know The Specifics Of The Vicious Smear We Approved

    —Ace

If you say you don’t know the specifics, people can’t ask you to defend the specifics.

At least not without calling you a liar to your face. Which people are reluctant to do. Especially when those people are liberal reporters questioning a high campaign official of their liberal dreamboat.

Asked about the Priorities spot on MSNBC Wednesday morning, Robert Gibbs said he doesn’t “know the specifics” while Stephanie Cutter said on CNN: “I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick or the facts about his health insurance.”
And Jen Psaki told reporters on Air Force One that “we don’t’ have any knowledge of the story of the family,” according to Yahoo! News.

But Cutter hosted an Obama campaign conference call in May in which Soptic told reporters the very story featured in the Priorities spot.

Both the campaign and the Priorities USA Action said there was no coordination about Soptic’s appearances. In the campaign’s ad, Soptic speaks only about the plant. In the Priorities spot, he tells the personal story he relayed during the Obama campaign conference call.

“We have no idea when Priorities shot their spot,” an Obama campaign official said. “We’re not allowed to coordinate with them – but we can tell you it wasn’t when we shot ours.”

Interesting, that, that the Obama campaign features the same guy as the Priorities USA SuperPAC. And these two are not permitted by law to coordinate. And yet, same guy.

  23. Wow and she had extended insurance coverage for two years after the factory closed. I wonder why the ad didn’t mention that little gem????
