When the Navy Seals killed Osama bin Laden, they captured a treasure trove of material that provided some unprecedented insight into the al-Qaeda plans. One of those was a detailed campaign of starting fires throughout the West. And US officials have pretty much determined that some of the fires that burned in California last year, were ignited by al-Qaeda operatives.

Breaking: Nationwide Bomb Threats Concerning Movie ‘The Expendables 2′ Called Into Carmike Cinemas

Today was opening day for the film “The Expendables 2” which is jam packed with action stars, among them; Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. The bomb threats connection to the opening may only be because of anticipated high numbers flocking to see the film. The financial loss in lieu of the threats/evacuations could be quite substantial. Hitting Carmike Cinemas where it hurts, their bottom line.

(Atlanta Journal-Constitution) –Bomb threats made to a Georgia-based movie theater company had several metro Atlanta theaters on alert Friday, as well as theaters in other states.

Callers identifying themselves as employees of a vendor used by the Columbus-based Carmike Cinemas made the the threats to theaters, Terrell Mayton, company spokesman, said Friday afternoon. The threats were made in multiple states, but nothing suspicious has been located, Mayton said. A threat was also phoned into the corporate office, he said.

All of the threats concerned the action movie “The Expendables 2,” which opened Friday, Mayton said. [...]

Stay tuned for updates.

Painting “One Nation Under Socialism” Features Obama With Burning US Constitution

You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

"I pledge allegiance to the United States of America and not to an ideology that could never stand: one nation — under socialism — divisive with no liberty or justice for anyone.” ~ John McNaughton

Provo, Utah (CBSDC) – Jon McNaughton, a controversial artist who often mixes religion and politics in his work, has released a new painting.

In “One Nation Under Socialism,” President Obama holds the U.S. Constitution as it burns.

While McNaughton previously depicted Obama stepping on the nation’s founding document, “One Nation Under Socialism” glowers directly as if challenging the viewer….
……
Whether stale or arresting, the painting turned McNaughton’s Facebook page into a battleground, where comments are flying from both political adversaries.
……
But despite the bickering, McNaughton hopes that he will get the “public talking about what the painting represents. Is Obama pushing a Socialist agenda on the American people?”

He hopes his art will get people to answer such questions.

“People need to start talking, and the conversation is about to get heated,” he said.

As with his other works, McNaughton released a video on YouTube detailing “One Nation Under Socialism.”

Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read: Unfortunately, most voters don’t know this.

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Obama’s DOJ Refuses to Investigate #OccupyWallStreet’s Threat to Public Safety

Shocker…

The Obama Regime rubber stamps OWS violence?

(DC Caller) –The nonprofit investigative firm Cause of Action asked DOJ Inspector General Cynthia Schnedar to look into Holder’s response to concerns about the potential for violence in connection with Occupy protests.

……

Epstein’s Nov. 9, 2011, request came just days after Occupy protesters attacked elderly women in Washington, D.C. outside a political summit hosted by the conservative group Americans for Prosperity. Epstein asked Schnedar to “investigate the status of the DOJ response to any threats to public safety posed by the Occupy Wall Street events and whether the DOJ investigated the allegations in Rep. Chaffetz’s letter.”

More than six weeks later, on December 28, 2011, Schnedar responded: “We are declining at this time to initiate the review requested in your letter.”

#OccupyOakland: Calls For Total West Coast Port Shutdown 12/12/2011

The  Obama endorsed Occupy Wall Street rabble rousing, economic terrorism beat goes on…

Proposal for a Coordinated West Coast Port Shutdown, Passed With Unanimous Consensus by vote of the Occupy Oakland General Assembly 11/18/2012:

In response to coordinated attacks on the occupations and attacks on workers across the nation:

Occupy Oakland calls for the blockade and disruption of the economic apparatus of the 1% with a coordinated shutdown of ports on the entire West Coast on December 12th.   The 1% has disrupted the lives of longshoremen and port truckers and the workers who create their wealth, just as coordinated nationwide police attacks have turned our cities into battlegrounds in an effort to disrupt our Occupy movement.

We call on each West Coast occupation to organize a mass mobilization to shut down its local port.  Our eyes are on the continued union-busting and attacks on organized labor, in particular the rupture of Longshoremen jurisdiction in Longview Washington by the EGT.   Already, Occupy Los Angeles has passed a resolution to carry out a port action on the Port Of Los Angeles on December 12th, to shut down SSA terminals, which are owned by Goldman Sachs.

Occupy Oakland expands this call to the entire West Coast, and calls for continuing solidarity with the Longshoremen in Longview Washington in their ongoing struggle against the EGT.  The EGT is an international grain exporter led by Bunge LTD, a company constituted of 1% bankers whose practices have ruined the lives of the working class all over the world, from Argentina to the West Coast of the US.  During the November 2nd General Strike, tens of thousands shutdown the Port Of Oakland as a warning shot to EGT to stop its attacks on Longview.  Since the EGT has disregarded this message, and continues to attack the Longshoremen at Longview, we will now shut down ports along the entire West Coast.

* Participating occupations are asked to ensure that during the port shutdowns the local arbitrator rules in favor of longshoremen not crossing community picket lines in order to avoid recriminations against them.
* Should there be any retaliation against any workers as a result of their honoring pickets or supporting our port actions, additional solidarity actions should be prepared.
* In the event of police repression of any of the mobilizations, shutdown actions may be extended to multiple days.

In Solidarity and Struggle,

Occupy Oakland

-In Oakland: the West Coast Port Shutdown Coordinating Committee will meet on General Assembly days at 5pm before the GA to organize the local shutdown, and to network with other occupations.

Canadian Adbusters Sounded 1st #OccupyWallStreet Call 2 Arms –Founder Owns OccupyWallStreet.org Who Flat Out Lie About Their Affiliation With Adbusters

A Canadian anti-Capitalist, economic terrorist manufactured the Occupy Wall Street phenom, and has been pulling the strings from behind the scenes.

In a post dated June 9, 2011 Adbusters issued the original Occupy Wall Street ‘call to arms’.

Link: http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/2011/june.html

Adbusters 2011: “Now may be the ripest moment we’ll ever have to power-shift global capitalism onto a new sustainable path.”

Discover the Networks on Adbusters role in the inception of Occupy Wall Street:

AMF (Adbusters Media Foundation) was a key organizer—along with such groups as Occupy Wall Street, USDayOfRage, NYC General Assembly, Take The Square, and Anonymous—of a September 17, 2011 “Day of Rage” protest which was staged in the vicinity of New York’s Wall Street financial center, which AMF viewed as the very emblem of the capitalist system which it so despised—“the financial Gomorrah of America” and “the greatest corrupter of our democracy.” Seeking to build on the anti-globalization movement and striving to promote “a worldwide shift in revolutionary tactics,” AMF called for “20,000 people [to] flood into lower Manhattan [on September 17], set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months.”

In its communiques to the “radicals and utopian dreamers” who were planning to participate in the September 17 demonstrations, AMF warned that: “Strategically speaking, there is a very real danger that if we naively put our cards on the table and rally around the ‘overthrow of capitalism’ or some equally outworn utopian slogan, then our Tahrir moment [i.e., opportunity for revolutionary change] will quickly fizzle into another inconsequential ultra-lefty spectacle soon forgotten.” To guard against this possibility, AMF called for “a deceptively simple Trojan Horse demand” that was “so specific and doable” that it would be “impossible for President Obama to ignore.” Thus, under the slogan “Democracy Not Corporatocracy,” AMF issued a demand for Obama to “ordain a Presidential Commission tasked with ending the influence money has over our representatives in Washington.” [...]

Who is Adbusters? The following is an excerpt from Adbusters’ profile on ActivistCash.com:

A Literal Culture Jam

Adbusters founder Kalle Lasn

Adbusters is the brainchild of Kalle Lasn, an Estonian-born documentary filmmaker. He spent his childhood in a German refugee camp and in Australia. Lasn founded a market research company in Tokyo in the 1960s and eventually moved to Vancouver, Canada. For twenty years, he produced documentaries for PBS and Canada’s National Film Board. Then, as he tells it, a “realization” hit him.

Lasn stood in a Canadian supermarket parking lot frustrated because he had to insert a quarter into a cart to shop there. He jammed his quarter in so that the cart became inoperable. This was the first “culture jam” (quite literally). “I didn’t stop to analyze whether this was ethical or not,” Lasn would later explain in his book. “I just let my anger flow.”

[Srsly? What a douche.]

Adbusters now also has a PR arm, the Powershift Advocacy Advertising Agency. Powershift creates campaigns for favored non-profit, militant causes.

Occupy Wall Street.org about/press release:

Link: http://occupywallst.org/about

“We are not affiliated with Adbusters,”

“In Solidarity, and as a response to this call, a planning group was formed [occupywallst.org]“

Not so fast! More like “in unison” as an “affiliate” of Adbusters’ astroturf campaign.

OccupyWallStreet.org is registered to Adbusters founder Kalle Lasn:

Occupywallstreet.org was registered by Lasn on June 9, 2011, the same EXACT date that Lasan’s Adbusters made the initial Occupy Wall Street call to arms.

Imagine that! Lasn was locked and loaded, and ready for the useful idiots to trickle in. Artificial spontaneity under the guise of grass roots.

Fraud

For good measure, Adbusters.org domain registration:

Dance Occupy Wall Street puppets, dance.

Reading Adbusters, one learns that the authors do not like people very much, particularly Americans. “About a third of Americans today are certifiably fascist,” declares Anis Shivani in the September/October 2003 issue. “Another 20 percent or so can be swayed around to particular causes with smart propaganda.”

Moving along…

Adbusters: Certifiable environ-mental patients.

Back to the Middle Ages

Why do Adbusters writers and editors hate personal choice so much? Because their utopia would be a nightmare for most Americans. “What makes you think you have the right to drive around with a ton of metal wrapped around you,” asks the September/October 2003 issue, “the right to twist a tap and get hot water, the right to flick a switch and get your house warmed up?” Were the Adbusters group to get its way, hundreds of years of progress would vanish.

“Plentitude [sic] is American culture’s perverse burden,” Kalle Lasn writes in Culture Jam. The twenty-first century’s increasing food supply, labor-saving technologies, improved life expectancy — he and his organization would like to remove those “burdens.

Judging from its magazine, Adbusters wants us to make do with fewer of the conveniences and technological advances we take for granted.

Food? “[E]very meat eater is responsible for the death of 2000 animals in his or her lifetime,” the November/December 2002 issue tells us. That issue, featuring a photograph of pigs juxtaposed with Nazi death camp prisoners, may have inspired People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ outrageous “Holocaust on Your Plate” exhibit.

The car? “[A]rguably the most destructive product we humans have ever produced,” Lasn writes. Even refrigerators contribute “noise pollution,” so he suggests their total elimination.

You go first dip-stick, let me know how it works out.

Never mind…

Lasn is a flaming environmental hypocrite.

He has called the automobile “arguably the most destructive product we humans have ever produced.” Yet he cheerfully drives a Toyota, as he writes in Culture Jam: “The love of convenience, the time I save, the speed and the power, and the lack of viable alternatives trump my hate more often than not.” In typically elitist fashion, what is “convenience” for Lasn is brainwashing for the masses.

And remember this quote from above?
“Food? “Every meat eater is responsible for the death of 2000 animals in his or her lifetime,”

Adbusters’ Kalle Lasn talks the meat free talk but does not walk the meat free walk. A do as I say, but not as I do — poseur!

A reporter from the Sydney Sun Herald asked Lasn whether he ever eats at McDonald’s. He admitted he did and explained, “People ask me this all the time — it’s very embarrassing — but I’m just a walking, talking contradiction. I’m not pure, and I don’t feel like I want to be all that pure.” Why Americans must be purer than Kalle Lasn is something he has refused to explain.

How convenient.

Attention all you wannabe or budding violent revolutionaries! Let your anger out! Rage drives revolutions!

Black Eye
Adbusters generally prefers rage to discernment. “Let your anger out. When it wells up suddenly from deep in your gut, don’t suppress it — channel it, trust it, use it. Don’t be so unthinkingly civil all the time,” Kalle Lasn advises. “Rage drives revolutions.”

Adbusters by definition is a clarion call for the destruction of property, which has resulted in MILLIONS of $ in damages.

The very name of the group implies destruction of private property. This is specifically advocated in nearly every issue of the magazine. Of course, its leaders prefer to couch this directive in lofty rhetoric, thinking of themselves as freedom fighters. “Consumer capitalism is by its very nature unethical,” Lasn writes, “and therefore it’s not unethical to jam it … liberating a billboard in the middle of the night can be a rather honest and joyful thing to do.”

Adbusters magazine teaches and encourages subversive tactics that typically lead to property destruction. It may only be billboards now, but the cost adds up — a group of Australians has already caused $1 million in damage to outdoor advertising alone.

And the hypocrisy beat goes on…

Adbusters are GREEDY capitalist pig consumerists, in anti-consumerist clothing!

Selling Anti-Consumerism

Adbusters may try to discourage buying, but obviously not when it comes to its own wares. Lasn has claimed that the magazine “is trying to sell ideas rather than products.” A look at its order form tells another story.

The slick glossy has a cover price of $7.95 — more than twice the price of People, Vogue, or GQ. The Adbusters website features a plethora of products for sale, including videos, posters, calendars, postcards, books, and even a 3×5-foot “corporate” flag — the American flag with the stars replaced by corporate logos. In 2002, Adbusters suggested substituting its version for the real Stars and Stripes on July 4 in front of stores, schools, and embassies.

Connections, connections! It is not only who they are, but who they know….

Most notably the extreme left wing’s top money man George Soros. There are but two scant degrees of separation between Adbusters and Soros. Soros‘ Open Society Institute is a MAJOR funder of the Tides Foundation (I’m talking millions) and the Tides Foundation funds Adbusters.

Apparently quite pleased with what they see as their successful Occupy Wall Street astroturf campaign. On September 30, 2011 Adbusters announced upcoming “peoples democracy movement” global revolutionary protest plans.

Their “something special” for the G20 sounds ominous. Violent Anarchist destruction as with past summits? Don’t put it past them.

Full circle.

Left-wing extremist comrades coming together united in solidarity!

In a supposed spontaneous show of support (see video below), union agitators and professional leftists have announced they will soon be joining the collective mishmash of clueless Occupy Wall Street protesters. In hopes to breathe some life into what has only amounted to so far, as nothing more than –an  dirty hippie neo-com commune.

(Crains NewYork) –The city’s most experienced agitators—the labor and community groups that typically organize local marches, rallies and sit-ins—have been largely missing from the Occupy Wall Street protest that is in its 13th day at Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan.

But that’s about to change.

A loose coalition of labor and community groups said Thursday that they would join the protest next week . They are organizing a solidarity march scheduled for Wednesday [October 5 --Ed.] that is expected to start at City Hall and finish a few blocks south at Zuccotti Park.
……
The protestors have transformed the park into a village of sorts, complete with a community kitchen, a library, a concert stage, an arts and crafts center and a media hub. All of that has enabled them not just to sustain the action but to build momentum. And as celebrities like Michael Moore, Susan Sarandon, Russell Simmons and Cornel West have joined in, the city’s traditional activists have been forced to jump into the fray.
……
Some of the biggest players in organized labor are actively involved in planning for Wednesday’s demonstration, either directly or through coalitions that they are a part of. The United Federation of Teachers, 32BJ SEIU, 1199 SEIU, Workers United and Transport Workers Union Local 100 are all expected to participate. The Working Families Party is helping to organize the protest and MoveOn.org is expected to mobilize its extensive online regional networks to drum up support for the effort.
……
Community groups like Make the Road New York, the Coalition for the Homeless, the Alliance for Quality Education and Community Voices Heard are also organizing for Wednesday’s action, and the labor/community coalitions United New York and Strong Economy For All are pitching in as well. [...]

SPEAKER: Stephen Lerner. Speaker at the Left Forum 2011 “Towards a Politics of Solidarity” Pace University March 19, 2011

W: We’re going to hear from Steve Lerner next, of SEIU, the Architect of the Justice for Janitors campaign. Currently, he’s working on partnering with unions and groups in Europe and South America, it’s building campaigns to hold financial institutions accountable.

TRANSCRIPT:

It feels to me after a long time of being on defense that something is starting to turn in the world and we just have to decide if we are on defense or offense

Maybe there is a different way to look at some of theses questions  it’s hard for me to think about any part of organizing without thinking what just happened with this economic crisis and what it means

I don’t know how to have a discussion about labor and community if we don’t first say what do we need to do at this time in history what is the strategy that gives us some chance of winning because I spent my life time as a union organizer justice for janitors a lot of things

It seems we are at a moment where the world is going to get much much worse or much much better

Unions are almost dead we cannot survive doing what we do but the simple fact of the matter is community organizations are almost dead also and if you think about what we need to do it may give us some direction which is essentially what the folks that are in charge – the big banks and everything – what they want is stability

Every time there is a crisis in the world they say, well, the markets are stable.

What’s changed in America is the economy doing well has nothing to do with the rest of us

They figured out that they don’t need us to be rich they can do very well in a global market without us so what does this have to do with community and labor organizing more.

We need to figure out in a much more through direct action more concrete way how we are really trying to disrupt and create uncertainty for capital for how corporations operate

The thing about a boom and bust economy is it is actually incredibly fragile.

There are actually extraordinary things we could do right now to start to destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement.

For example, 10% of homeowners are underwater right their home they are paying more for it then its worth 10% of those people are in strategic default, meaning they are refusing to pay but they are staying in their home that’s totally spontaneous they figured out it takes a year to kick me out of my home because foreclosure is backed up

If you could double that number you would  you could put banks at the edge of insolvency again.

Students have a trillion dollar debt

We have an entire economy that is built on debt and banks so the question would be what would happen if we organized homeowners in mass to do a mortgage strike if we get half a million people to agree  it would literally cause a new finical crisis for the banks not for us we would be doing quite well  we wouldn’t be paying anything.

Government is being strangled by debt

The four things we could do that could really upset wall street

One is if city and state and other  government entities demanded to renegotiate their debt
and you might say why would the banks ever do it  – because city and counties could say we won’t do business with you in the future if you won’t renegotiate the debt now

So we could leverage the power we have of government and say two things  we won’t do business with you JP Morgan Chase anymore unless you do two things: you reduce the price of our interest  and second you rewrite the mortgages for everybody in the communities

We could make them do that

The second thing is there is a whole question in Europe about students’ rates in debt structure. What would happen if students said we are not going to pay.  It’s a trillion dollars. Think about republicans screaming about debt a trillion dollars in student debt

There is a third thing we can think about what if public employee unions instead of just being on the defensive  put on the collective bargaining table when they negotiate they say we demand as a condition of negotiation that the government renegotiate – it’s crazy that you’re paying too much interest to your buddies the bankers it’s a strike issue  – we will strike unless you force the banks to renegotiate/

Then if you add on top of that if we really thought about moving the kind of disruption in Madison but moving that to Wall Street and moving that to other cities around the country

We basically said you stole seventeen trillion dollars – you’ve improvised us and we are going to make it impossible for you to operate

Labor can’t lead this right now so if labor can’t lead but we are a critical part of it  we do have money we have millions of members who are furious

But I don’t think this kind of movement can happen unless community groups and other activists take the lead.

If we really believe that we are in a transformative stage of  what’s happening in capitalism

Then we need to confront this in a serious way and develop really ability to put a boot in the wheel  then we have to think not about labor and community alliances  we have to think about how together we are building something that really has the capacity to disrupt how the system operates

We need to think about a whole new way of thinking about this not as a partnership but building something new.

We have to think much more creatively. The key thing… What does the other side fear the most – they fear disruption. They fear uncertainty. Every article about Europe says in they rioted in Greece the markets went down

The folks that control this country care about one thing how the stock market goes what the bond market does how the bonuses goes. We have a very simple strategy:

* How do we bring down the stock market
* How do we bring down their bonuses
* How do we interfere with their ability to be rich

And that means we have to politically isolate them, economically isolate them  and disrupt them

It’s not all theory I’ll do a pitch.

So a bunch of us around the country think who would be a really good company to hate we decided that would be JP Morgan Chase  and so we are going to roll out over the next couple of months what would hopefully be an exciting campaign about JP Morgan Chase that is really about challenge the power of Wall Street.

And so what we are looking at  is the first week in May can we get enough people together starting now to really have an week of action in New York I don’t want to give any details because I don’t know if there are any police agents in the room.

The goal would be that we will roll out of New York the first week of May. We will connect three ideas

* that we are not broke there is plenty of money
* they have the money  – we need to get it back
* and that they are using Bloomberg and other people in government as the vehicle to try and  destroy us

And so we need to take on those folks at the same time

and that we will start here we are going to look at a week of civil disobedience – direct action all over the city
then roll into the JP Morgan shareholder meeting which they moved out of New York because I guess they were afraid because of Columbus.

There is going to be a ten state mobilization it try and shut down that meeting and then looking at bank shareholder meetings around the country  and try and create some moments like Madison except where we are on offense instead of defense

Where we have brave and heroic battles challenging the power of the giant corporations. We hope to inspire a much bigger movement about redistributing wealth and power in the country and that labor can’t do itself that community groups can’t do themselves but maybe we can work something new and different that can be brave enough  and daring and nimble enough to do that kind of thing.

Remember America, SEIU’s agenda is Obama’s agenda and [always] has been.
