(All Voices) –From its inception, the Occupy movement was often faulted for not stating goals or demands. But during a flamboyant 9-month run at Oakland, California, Occupy crystallized into a single, unmistakable objective: F*** The Police. Beginning on New Year’s Eve, Occupy Oakland’s weekly FTP marches have become the group’s public face—so much so, in fact, that even non-FTP events such as June 30′s Feminist Vigilante March (“Tonight femqueers run this town! Burn the patriarchy down!”) have followed FTP’s standard beeline from a public park near 19th St. & Telegraph Ave. to Oakland Police Dept. headquarters, then to the county jail two blocks away.

Such was the modus operandi of Occupy Oakland’s F*** The Fourth march on America’s July 4 Independence Day, except it kicked off at 8 p.m. outside City Hall instead of uptown. Staged by anarchists, FTF was highlighted by brazen vandalism. The driver’s door of an unattended OPD cruiser was kicked in and its logo quickly painted over with the anarchist trademark. More dramatically, “FTP KILL COPS” graffiti was painted on the frosted windows of OPD HQ. Finally, aping FTP’s obligatory flag-burning, FTF torched Old Glory in the street outside the pink stuccoed Mexicali Rose Restaurant across from the jail.

Two hours later, summing up via Twitter, FTF organizer PFailBlog declared: “Oh, what a night. F*** you OPD, we win.”

Violent Occupy May Day General Strike festivities began a day early in San Fran.

A stealth attack or impatient to get the violent riotous ball rolling? Or both?

(Mission Local) –A group of protesters vandalized dozens of businesses, cars and any property they came across as they marched through the Mission on Monday night [April 30, 2012].

The mile-long trek of vandalism began at 18th and Dolores streets, where a group of more than 100 protesters met as part of an early May Day march. The protesters walked west on 18th Street, turned left on Valencia Street, right on Duboce Avenue, and another made a right on Mission Street before being confronted by riot police at 14th and Mission, according to Justin Beck, an independent journalist who followed the protesters.

It was not immediately known how many people were arrested. In a statement released early Tuesday morning, Occupy San Francisco said that the vandals were not associated with the movement, but the statement was taken down shortly after. [See screenshot below --Ed.]

The vandalism began almost immediately after the group took off from Dolores Park at around 9 p.m. The protesters paint-bombed Tartine Bakery on 18th and Guerrero streets. When they reached Farina, one protester grabbed a chair and attempted to break a window but was not successful, said police officer D. Daza. Several of the protesters, dressed in black clothing and with their faces covered, threw sacks filled with paint at the restaurant’s windows, drew anarchist symbols on them and spraypainted “Yuppies out!”

Armed with crowbars, bats and other metal objects, some of the protesters smashed the windows of businesses along a five-block stretch of Valencia Street, from 18th Street to Duboce Avenue.

An officer told victims standing by the cars that police had received 500 calls reporting damage that included smashed windows and slashed tires. Late Monday night, business owners were cleaning up and officers patrolled the streets after dispersing the crowd at 14th and Mission.

"At Occupy Oakland, where you are permitted to live is determined by your gender and/or racial or sexual identity. Here, for example, is a roped-off “gated community” reserved exclusively for female, gay and transgender residents."

(Reuters) – Michael Davis, 32, Nneka Crawford, 23, and Randolph Wilkins, 24, confronted the woman on the streets of Oakland in February after she told them not to riot in her neighborhood, the Oakland Police said in a written release.

“She was surrounded by three protestors and battered as they yelled vulgar epithets regarding their perception of her sexual orientation,” Oakland Police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said.

The female victim was not identified except as a 20-year resident of the neighborhood.

“Her wallet was taken during the crime,” Watson said. “The victim broke away from the group and called police, who were able to arrest one suspect near the scene.”

Watson said the other two suspects were arrested at a February 29 Occupy Oakland protest.

Each was charged by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office with felony counts of robbery and hate crimes, Watson said

On Feb. 22, the Oakland Police Department responded to a report of a robbery on the 4000 block of Piedmont Avenue in Oakland.

The female victim who called the police said she was walking across the street from a Wells Fargo bank when she noticed a group of Occupy Oakland protesters calling for a riot, police said.

What we have learned today, is that stealing from the 99% is okay if the individual happens to go against their agenda.

What was supposed to be another “Peaceful Protest” by Occupy Portland ran hopelessly awry and out of control this evening. The self described mob shouted profanity, broke windows, and sought to intimidate police and citizen journalists who would try and film it.

Chants made by the Occu-Mob included “Fu*k the Police!,” “All Cops Are Bastards,” and “America Has Got to Go!” Again, viewer discretion is advised.

While attending the march in solidarity with Occupy Oakland, I filmed one of the march leaders shouting racist slurs at police. He also uses a term that is offensive to mentally disabled people, along with several other instances of hate filled rhetoric.

I attempt to join a supposedly peaceful march with Occupy Portland. One gentleman, Mario Javier David Haro, assaults me by repeatedly ramming his bicycle into me as I walk down the sidewalk, and at one point he swats at me in an attempt to vandalize my camera. Another friendly chap threatens to “level” me and says he will “put [me] on the floor.” All of this along with several other insulting comments and foul language.

Big thanks to Occupy Portland for staying civil, tolerant, diverse, and accepting people of other opinions. NOT!

As far as I know, Occupy Oakland’s FTP march last night was for the most part uneventful.

When the majority of Occupy Oakland behaves, there is no repercussion from the OPD. Amazing how that works.

Although Vivian Ho of the San Francisco Chronicle reported on a few incidents via Twitter. This time they turned their pent up anger towards the media. Hey, I thought they are all about the 1st amendment. Heh.

But keep in mind that Occupy Oakland has NEVER  been given a permit to protest, they openly mock the estimated $50,000 per week cost to the city (taxpayers) to babysit their continuous radical agitating and all past ‘protests’ have resulted in violence, chaos, trespassing, and vandalism of both public and private property. Replacement of the stolen and subsequently burned City Hall flag by Occupy Oakland during last weeks riot, and a group of concerned citizens are planing a counter-protest. I bet they get a permit beforehand. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

(KTVU) –Phil Tagami, a real estate developer whose office is at Frank Ogawa Plaza across from City Hall, presented the city with a flag Monday to replace the one that was stolen and burned during last weekend’s protest.

Tagami said the city has to find a way to stop the ongoing violence.

“It’s marauding bands of people roaming through downtown Oakland causing property destruction and general mayhem,” he said. “If that’s not a form of terrorism, then I don’t know what is.”

On Monday, Nancy Sidebotham and other concerned Oakland residents plan to hold a counter-protest to support the city and the police.

“This is our city, and we’re not going to let it deteriorate,” she said.

On a Super Bowl Sunday side note. I’m picking The Giants over the Pats. For the mere fact that Patriots QB Tom Brady makes me ill.
