(Mediaite) –While covering a May Day rally in Manhattan’s Union Square on Wednesday, NBC New York reporter Ida Siegal was cornered and asked if her network planned to show the communist imagery the protesters were displaying. Hilarity ensued when Siegal immediately became defensive, denying she had seen any communist imagery and asking of the “Hammer-and-Sickle” flags: “What do they represent?”

(The Blaze) –“I haven’t seen any of those…” reporter Ida Siegel told the male videographer who confronted her.

“You haven’t seen any of those?” the videographer asked.

“No, I haven’t — what are they, what do they represent?” Seigel replied.

“The hammer and sickle, you don’t know what that represents?” he pressed.

Siegel at that point asked which group the videographer was with.

“I’m not with any group, I’m just curious as a major media company if you’re going to show in the story you do about this the hammer and sickle flags,” he said.

On a related note Obama has declared the commie holiday May Day (May 1st) as the “Day of Loyalty”.

(NY Post) –The privileged daughter of a prominent city doctor [Dr. Paul Gliedman director of radiation oncology Beth Israel Hospital, Brooklyn Division ], and her boyfriend — a Harvard grad and Occupy Wall Street activist — have been busted for allegedly having a cache of weapons and a bombmaking explosive in their Greenwich Village apartment.

Morgan Gliedman — who is nine-months pregnant — and her baby daddy, Aaron Greene, 31, also had instructions on making bombs, including a stack of papers with a cover sheet titled, “The Terrorist Encyclopedia,’’ sources told The Post yesterday.

People who know Greene say his political views are “extreme,” the sources said.

Cops found the stash in the couple’s West Ninth Street home Saturday when they went there to look for Gliedman, 27, who was wanted for alleged credit-card theft.

A detective discovered a plastic container with seven grams of a white chemical powder called HMTD, which is so powerful, cops evacuated several nearby buildings.

Police also found a flare launcher, which is a commercial replica of a grenade launcher; a modified 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun; ammo; and nine high-capacity rifle magazines, the sources said.

Cops also allegedly uncovered papers about creating homemade booby traps, improvised submachine guns, and various handwritten notebooks containing chemical formulas.

The couple’s arrest Saturday was a sharp turn from their privileged backgrounds.

Duarte Square NYC Dec. 17, 2011: This is what it looks like when an unhinged, self-righteous, self-entitled Occupy mob forms and attempts to trespass onto private property.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Trinity Church is cancelling its annual Halloween celebration.

A post on the church’s website says the “decision was made out of an abundance of caution as we continue to face safety issues arising from the sidewalk camp in front of Trinity Church.”

A group called “Occupy Trinity Wall Street Church” – which labels itself as “An action of Occupy Wall Street” – set up a makeshift camp on the sidewalk in front of the church.

Last December, Trinity Church told Occupy protesters evicted from Zuccotti Park they couldn’t stay at Duarte Square, which is owned by Trinity Church. The NYPD said 49 Occupy protesters were arrested attempting to scale a chain-link fence or crawl under it in order to gain access to the property.

“They broke into the Duarte property. We said ‘no.’ They’re just angry about it, I guess,” Linda Hanick of Trinity Church told CBSNewYork.com.

The camp started in front of the church in June.

“A long-time maintenance superintendent at Trinity was the victim of an assault as he was attempting to perform the morning cleaning of the sidewalk areas affected by the camp,” Rev. Dr. James Cooper wrote in the post on the site. “There have been nine arrests related to the camp since it began.”

The church is required by law to clean the sidewalk in front of its property. They send out three workers each day with a power hose and garbage cans. Some of the protesters move, some don’t.

“Some get rowdy,” Hanick said.

Hanick said a week ago one of the workers was approached by a young protester who blasted him in the ear with a loud air horn. The worker, Hanick said, was traumatized and was put under medical care. The protester was arrested, Hanick said.

“It’s a popular event for the community, but given the conditions… we felt it was not a safe environment,” Hanick said.

The Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) pet project’s ‘taste for cop blood‘ streak continues.

(All Voices) –From its inception, the Occupy movement was often faulted for not stating goals or demands. But during a flamboyant 9-month run at Oakland, California, Occupy crystallized into a single, unmistakable objective: F*** The Police. Beginning on New Year’s Eve, Occupy Oakland’s weekly FTP marches have become the group’s public face—so much so, in fact, that even non-FTP events such as June 30′s Feminist Vigilante March (“Tonight femqueers run this town! Burn the patriarchy down!”) have followed FTP’s standard beeline from a public park near 19th St. & Telegraph Ave. to Oakland Police Dept. headquarters, then to the county jail two blocks away.

Such was the modus operandi of Occupy Oakland’s F*** The Fourth march on America’s July 4 Independence Day, except it kicked off at 8 p.m. outside City Hall instead of uptown. Staged by anarchists, FTF was highlighted by brazen vandalism. The driver’s door of an unattended OPD cruiser was kicked in and its logo quickly painted over with the anarchist trademark. More dramatically, “FTP KILL COPS” graffiti was painted on the frosted windows of OPD HQ. Finally, aping FTP’s obligatory flag-burning, FTF torched Old Glory in the street outside the pink stuccoed Mexicali Rose Restaurant across from the jail.

Two hours later, summing up via Twitter, FTF organizer PFailBlog declared: “Oh, what a night. F*** you OPD, we win.”

I think it expresses the frustrations that the American people feel.

People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works.

The American people understand that not everybody’s been following the rules, that Wall Street is an example of that.

Chicago based blogger Marathon Pundit spent the day at the Occupy Nato protest and has “Pics from the anti-NATO march you won’t see in the establishment media”

Marathon Pundit also spotted Obama’s unrepentant domestic terrorist pal Bill Ayers and his other half Bernadine Dohrn joining their left-wing radical extremist comrades at ze protest.

Worth noting, even though 3 Occupy NATO protesters are facing terrorism charges, Carney refused to denounce the Occupy communist/anarchist radicals. He refused to condemn the Occupy movement in Obama’s name even after a Chicago Police Officer was stabbed in the leg, and chants of “What do we want? Dead cops!” rang into the air. Not surprising, Occupy’s “F*ck the Police” violent hate has become legendary. Where ya been Jay, under a rock? If I was a police officer I would think long and hard about whether or not I would cast my vote for the Occupier-In-Chief.

In a massive show of force, police in riot gear clashed violently with protesters at the end of the anti-NATO summit march on Sunday afternoon.

The clash occurred at 22nd Street and Michigan Avenue–a few blocks away from where President Obama and other world leaders were meeting for the NATO summit–as the protesters tried to leave the rally at the end of a huge anti-NATO march.

Police Supt. Garry McCarthy was seen right in the middle of the fray, directing his officers.

Police were yelling at the crowd to move back as some of the protesters tried to rupture the line and threw objects at officers. The objects bounced off police officers, who wore riot-control gear. Several people could be seen being taken into custody.
