ICYMI Here is video of conservative warrior Dana Loesch’s appearance on ‘The View’. Amazingly enough the...ahem… ladies of The View kept their claws in.
(RightSightings) –In her [Feb. 3, 2014] debut as a panelist co-host on ABC’s ‘The View’, Conservative Talk Radio Host / The Blaze, Dana Loesch explains the events in her life that triggered her from being a progressive liberal to switching over to Conservative values.
…Mark Ellis says his daughter goes to Hocker Grove Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. She was so shocked by what she recently saw on a poster at school, that she took a picture of it home and showed her parents.
Her dad initially assumed it was a student prank, until he called the school and found it was part of the curriculum.
“Why would you put it in front of 13-year-old students?†he asked.
He thought the poster, which lists things like “oral sex†and “grinding,†might’ve been a prank until he contacted the school principal. He was told it was a teaching material. But Ellis is now concerned that what’s on this poster is being taught to his daughter in school
“It upsets me. And again, it goes back to who approved this? You know this had to pass through enough hands that someone should have said, ‘Wait a minute, these are 13-year-old kids, we do not need to be this in-depth with this sexual education type of program,’†he said.
“This has nothing to do with abstinence or sexual reproduction, actually, a lot of these things,†he said. “I would like to see that this particular portion of the curriculum is removed from the school.â€
And if the curriculum doesn’t change, Ellis plans to remove his daughter from the sexual education classes.
DUPO, IL – Fourth graders in Dupo Illinois are reading a biography of Barack Obama that’s raising eyebrows among St. Clair County parents. The book, which supplements the school’s Common Core curriculum, blames television for the negative behaviors the first African-American president picked up as a teen:
The book – brought to the attention this week of those on the “Moms Against Duncan – MAD” Facebook page, goes on to say white Americans were hesitant to vote for a black president, and that Obama pushed the race issue to bring the nation together.
“But some people said Americans weren’t ready for that [note how 'that' is italicized for emphasis in original text --VH] much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow, they said. But white voters would never vote for a black president. Other angry voices were raised. Barack’s former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said.”
The Bluffview Elementary students were told the book’s content would be tested for grades. That brought outrage among parents just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, one of the “MAD” moms reported.
This biography of America’s 44th president, entitled “Barack Obama,” is written by Jane Sutcliffe and published by Lerner. The book is part of Scholastic’s “Reading Counts” program acceptable to the controversial Common Core curriculum standards.
But, but, but I thought Common Core is a state led effort. In fact the Common Core website (corestandards.org) makes the claim official:
David Axelrod (Obama 2008 campaign advisor and former Obama Senior Advisor) speaking at UIC Common Core debate debunks the false narrative in a single sentence:
Today we’re having a discussion as you know about the Common Core Standards which was an initiative of the Obama Administration.
In this next video clip Common Core architect David Coleman reveals that Obama campaign arms (data and field mobilization) were a major driving force behind Common Core. Though when it came to pitching ‘Common Core’ to governors Coleman made a conscious decision to leave Obama’s name out of it; “It wouldn’t go over well”.
(Potter Williams) –David Coleman, president of the ‘College Board’ and creator of the Common Core State Standards, talks to data analysts in a conference in Boston on May 31, 2013.
(The New American Video)–In this short video produced by The New American, veteran educator Mary Black addresses the commonly held myth that the Obama administration-pushed plot to nationalize education through Common Core is somehow a “state-led” effort, rather than a scheme concocted by Big Government, Big Business, and billionaires like Bill Gates.

Mexifornia; where celebrating Mexican heritage supersedes American heritage.
Where waving Mexican flags on American soil is tolerated, while US flag shirts are not.
Dozens of students walked out of Live Oak High School carrying Mexican flags in response to a small group of students who wore American flag t-shirts on Cinco de Mayo while other students were celebrating their Mexican heritage.
That is the outcome of laying out the red carpet for an entire group of ungrateful, self-entitled punks.
So now it has come to this.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP)  A federal appeals court on Thursday wrestled with the novel question of whether it was offensive for Northern California high school students to display the American flag during a school day dedicated to celebrating Mexican heritage.
So the question before the court Thursday was whether public school administrators can ban patriotic displays of the American flag on shirts on “Mexican Heritage Day” at a campus plagued by violence and racial strife. The administrators at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, about 20 miles south of San Jose, said they were concerned that the shirts would lead to violence and verbal altercations.
They told the students to turn the shirts inside out or go home. The students went home, and a month later, their parents filed a lawsuit, alleging the school and its administrators violated their children’s free speech rights.
“It’s all about not being ashamed to wear the American flag,” Kendall Jones, a parent of one of the students, said to reporters outside the hearing Thursday. “What’s wrong with that?”
“Do you have to wait until they duke out in the courtyard,” before administrators can step in and ban the shirts, Judge Virginia Kendall asked.
The students’ attorney Robert Muise argued that the “potential” the shirts would cause disruptions on campus was a “risk” the school had to take in deference to the students’ free speech rights to wear the American flag T-shirts.
Judge Sidney Thomas suggested the case may need to be returned to a lower court and sent to a jury to determine whether the shirts posed an actual threat that day.
The shirts posed no threat, they are inanimate objects. Radical, aggressive anti-American ‘dreamers’ are [the] threat. They should be kissing the ground they walk on not defecating on it. If the sight of the US Flag is so damn offensive to them, I suggest they celebrate their Mexican heritage in a Mexican hell hole of their choice.
(LA Times) –
In asking the student to remove the shirt, school officials said the depiction of the rifle was a violation of the school’s dress code. When the student’s parents wrote to the school’s principal, suggesting that administrators had infringed on their daughter’s constitutional rights, Principal Kimberly Fricker responded by sending the parents the school’s policy on clothing that depicts violence.
“In general, anything that is divisive or offensive to a staff member,†the policy said. “The administration reserves the right to restrict any clothing or accessories that in our judgment detracts from the educational environment of Canyon High School.â€Â
However, after reviewing the pictures on the shirt, Fricker later concluded that the shirt didn’t promote violence, the Orange Unified School District said in a statement.
“If they’re going to try to characterize this shirt as depicting violence, then this policy is overboard,†said Chuck Michel, an attorney who has represented the NRA and was working with the Bullwinkle family at the organization’s request.
“School officials can’t write themselves a policy that gives them unfettered discretion.â€Â
This wasn’t the first time Bullwinkle wore the shirt, Michel said, he’s not sure why it caught the school’s attention this time, but believes it may be connected to the national debate on gun rights.
Oh, I am sure that was at the core.

Response to Canyon High School NRA Shirt Incident
Canyon High School has a policy prohibiting clothing depicting or promoting violence. In this incident, a student was referred to the counseling office by a security officer because she was wearing a shirt with a logo that included a rifle. The student was instructed by a staff member to change her shirt and was provided another shirt to wear.
The parents contacted the principal a week after the incident to express concern. At that time, the principal was unaware of the incident and provided an initial response regarding the school policy on clothing that depicts violence. After reviewing pictures of the shirt, the principal determined that the shirt logo does not promote violence.
The family was contacted and advised that wearing the shirt was not contrary to the school dress code policy and the student will be permitted to wear the shirt. The student and family received an apology and assurance that training will be provided to staff so an incident like this does not occur again.
“National Rifle Association of America: Protecting America’s Traditions Since 1871â€Â
An NRA hunting t-shirt promotes gun violence? Sure against a hunters prey; woodland animals. Which is LEGAL. Or maybe it was the NRA and “protecting America’s traditions” wording that sent the school into a mouth foaming tizzy.
Or was it all of the above?
ANAHEIM HILLS (CBSLA.com)  A student at a high school in Anaheim Hills said administrators ordered her to change out of a T-shirt that promoted the National Rifle Association.
Sophomore Haley Bullwinkle said when she wore her NRA shirt to Canyon High School last month, she landed in the principal’s office for violating the school’s dress code that forbids offensive, violent or divisive clothing.
“They were treating me like I was a criminal,†she said. “I was not allowed to wear that at school because it promoted gun violence.â€Â
The shirt, which was a gift from Bullwinkle’s father when he became a card-carrying member of the NRA, features a buck, an American flag and a hunter’s silhouette. It also has the words “National Rifle Association of America: Protecting America’s Traditions Since 1871†written in the center.
Bullwinkle’s father said he emailed the school’s principal to find out why his daughter had to change her shirt.
Principal Kimberly Fricker responded in an email, which said, in part, “The shirt had a gun on it, which is not allowed by school police. It’s protocol to have students change when they’re in violation of the dress code.â€Â
The girl’s father, who has retained an attorney, now wants to know how the school defines violence. He said the drill team is allowed to twirl fake rifles and the mascot is a Comanche.
“I think that if you consider the hunter, the image of the hunter to be offensive, certainly there are groups that would consider the Comanche Indian chief to be offensive,†he said.
CBS2′s Stacey Butler was unable to reach Fricker for comment.
Video report at link. In which CBS2 reports Haley has worn the t-shirt several times in the past without intervention from the school’s shock troops.
Canyon High School dress code policy:
Did you catch this? This disclaimer is so broad you could drive an 18 wheeler through it.
“In general, anything that is divisive or offensive to a staff member”
So students are held hostage at the tyrannical whims of petty gun grabbing fascist staff members.
ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

(Click Orlando) HARMONY, Fla. -The mother of an 8-year-old Central Florida boy is fighting back after her son was suspended from school for using his finger as a play gun.
Bonnie Bennett said her son, Jordan, was suspended Friday at Harmony Community School in Osceola County after playing cops and robbers with another student.
“There was nothing in his hand. He used his thumb and index finger,” said Bennett. “It was a game. He made no threatening advances or threats to harm anyone. No words were said.”
Bennett said she would have been satisfied with some form of punishment but is worried now that since he’s been suspended, her son will be seen as a violent child.
“They took a child that has never been in trouble before and went to the extreme,” said Bennett. “A child that has no history of violence is now classified as a violent offender.”
But the Osceola County School District said it wasn’t just a simple game.
A school representative said the district can’t comment on the specifics of what happened because of confidentiality, but after reviewing the entire incident, Jordan’s actions showed to have violated the code of student conduct.
Bennett said she’ll continue to fight, hoping the principal will remove the suspension from her son’s school record.
“I’m prepared to go to court if I have to because this is wrong. It’s wrong for my son and any other child if they’re faced with the same thing because of a game,” Bennett said.
According to Bennett’s son, the other boy involved was also sent home because of the incident. [...]
More on the claimed violation of code of student conduct:
(WFTV) –The school district told Channel 9 due to student confidentiality, they cannot comment on individual cases. They did say their code of conduct prohibits students from playing with invisible guns.
“Invisible guns” = “Look-alike weapons”. And in 8 year old Jordan’s case, his finger gun is a “look alike weapon”.

Teach kids to be anti-gun when they are young and impressionable so as adults they will not demand their 2nd amendment rights are upheld. An unarmed society is a society of slaves to the state –the goal –being enforced step by step, inch by inch under the guise of ‘public safety’. Top down, bottom up.
According to the child’s mother the school is lying about how the incident went down… The school claims that Gage (cool name BTW) pointed the toy at a class mate and said; ‘bang, bang’, yet he and other students who witnessed the incident say that is not the case. Has it gotten so bad that schools will now stoop to lying in order to push their fascist anti-gun policies??
