Every human heart does not yearn for freedom. As Andrew C. McCarthy explains, In the Islam of the Middle East, “freedom” means something very nearly the opposite of what the concept connotes to Westerners — it is the freedom that lies in total submission to Allah and His law. (Reuters) – Arab-American groups have sharply criticized a Coca-Cola Super Bowl ad depicting an Arab walking through the desert with a camel, and one group said it would ask the beverage giant to change it before CBS airs the game on Sunday before an expected audience of more than 100 million U.S. viewers.
“Why is it that Arabs are always shown as either oil-rich sheiks, terrorists, or belly dancers?” said Warren David, president of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, or ADC.
Coca-Cola released an online teaser of the commercial last week, showing the Arab walking through a desert. He soon sees cowboys, Las Vegas showgirls and a motley crew fashioned after the marauders of the apocalyptic “Mad Max” film race by him to reach a gigantic bottle of Coke.
In its ad, Coke asks viewers to vote online on which characters should win the race. The online site does not allow a vote for the Arab character.
“The Coke commercial for the Super Ball is racist, portraying Arabs as backward and foolish Camel Jockeys, and they have no chance to win in the world,” Imam Ali Siddiqui, president of the Muslim Institute for Interfaith Studies, said in an email.
Well, if the sandal fits…
“What message is Coke sending with this?” asked Abed Ayoub, ADC’s director of legal and policy affairs. “By not including the Arab in the race, it is clear that the Arab is held to a different standard when compared to the other characters in the commercial,” he said.
It is racist to portray an Arab as a bystander dontcha know…
The ADC garnered attention back in 1992 when it complained that lyrics in the Walt Disney animated film “Aladdin” were racist.

Ayoub said the commercial could harm Coke’s business with the Arab community.
“Coke should understand and respect their consumers and have a better understanding of the market they are sharing,” he Ayoub.
The company has a large market share in the Middle East and North Africa, he noted, and many convenience stores and other retail outlets in the United States that offer Coke are owned by Arab-Americans.
So if a Coke Super Bowl ad was set in a convenience store with an Arab at the counter it would not be racist? Not bloody likely.
…the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee–those are the fine people who have pushed for the Palestinian “Right of Return”, boycotting of Lowe’s because it removed its ad from the TV series All-American Muslim, and divesting from Israel.
But hey, let’s all wring our hands over what the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee see as an Arab stereotyped/portrayed (whatevs) as a backwards, foolish camel jockey.
Because some things are more important than others. And that is far more important than an actual enemy within, the very enemy whom the ADC turned a blind eye to.

Imran Firasat faces criminal charges and deportation from Spain. He is a Pakistani ex-Muslim who was welcomed into Spain for protection from Islamic violence. As a result of his speaking out against Islam and revealing the violent nature of the religion, his co-producing with Stand Up America Now of the film called The Innocent Prophet, and because he converted from Islam to Christianity, he faces certain death if Spain sends him back to Pakistan. This is again a result of Western Society bowing to the fear and intimidation of Islam and shows the very nature of Islam.
Spain is citing Penal Code 510 as a reason to prosecute Imran. This Code refers to inciting or provoking hatred or violence, which Imran has not done. Spain’s Ministry of Foreign affairs has threatened to revoke Imran’s asylum status, stating that his youtube, The Innocent Prophet, is “destabilizing” because of the “extreme indignation and sensitivity” of the world’s Muslims.
These unjust threats by the Spanish Government show the very importance of our standing up against a brutal totalitarian system of religion and government called Sharia. Under Sharia, apostates and those who are seen to insult Islam deserve death. Let us act now, before our Western society becomes a victim of the very violence of Islam that we are attempting to fight.
(Ottawa Citizen) –In these days of draconian political correctness, neurotic anti-hate speech laws and dictatorial human rights police, I have sometimes fretted that the western tradition of free speech is in jeopardy.
No doubt it is, in some quarters at least. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan wants “Islamophobia” declared as “a crime against humanity” and “international legal regulations against attacks on what people deem sacred.”
Likewise, the Arab League has called for the development of an international legal framework to criminalize blasphemy. Ditto the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, a bloc of 57 Muslim countries, which wants Western countries to make it an international crime to criticize Islam or Mohammed – all on the name of “religious tolerance.” (Naturally, there’s no mention of not insulting — or persecuting — Christians and Jews.)
Of course, all this is to be expected from the Muslim world, which insists that only Muslims get to define what constitutes an insult — which is an insult to intelligence.
Unfortunately, there are too many western politicians so frightened of appearing intolerant — and of losing Muslim votes, I suppose — that they kowtow to these kind of asinine dictates.
Not all, though, I’m happy to report. At least some European politicians possess sufficient backbone to stand up for Enlightenment traditions.

Murphy III, sitting in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, issued an order, granting the American Freedom Law Center’s (AFLC) request to file a second amended complaint in its civil rights lawsuit brought on behalf of four Christian missionaries who were unlawfully arrested for preaching the Gospel to Muslims at the 2010 Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Michigan. The order permits AFLC, a nonprofit Judeo-Christian law firm representing the Christians, to amend its lawsuit to name as an additional defendant the American Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC), which is the organization responsible for the conduct of the Dearborn Arab Festival, an event where the police and festival workers have historically discriminated against Christians.

On June 18, 2010, four Christian missionaries, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla, and Negeen Mayel, were thrown in jail by Dearborn police officers for peacefully preaching to Muslims at that year’s annual Arab festival. The City charged the Christians with “breach of the peace” and ordered them to stand trial. In September 2010, Robert Muise, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, represented the Christians during a five-day criminal trial. At the end of the trial, the Christians were acquitted by a unanimous jury verdict.
Following the acquittals, Yerushalmi and Muise drafted and filed a civil rights lawsuit against the City of Dearborn, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, which is now a defendant. The lawsuit alleges that the Christians’ constitutional rights were egregiously violated during the Arab festival. The case is in the discovery stage, and a jury trial is currently scheduled for next August

French patriots determined to fight back against the Muslim hordes are ignored by the media. Will those who willingly handed France to islam on a silver platter be the first to cry when the islamic savages whom they embraced and defended serve their heads on a plate?
(CBN) –A patriotic march for French values and culture, and against radical Islam, was virtually blacked out by France’s politically correct media.
Over the weekend, protestors chanted against Islamic fascism and about the French victory over Arab invaders in 732 A.D. It was the first march of its kind in France.
A broad coalition of groups from across France came together because they feel they’re losing their country to radical Islam, Sharia law, and a politically correct establishment that encourages the spread of Islam.
“Sharia law is slowly being enforced in our country and we want to march here to protest that because our government is doing nothing,” one French demonstrator said.

The march took place just weeks after a group of French young people called Generation Identitaire stormed a mosque in Portiers and hung a banner from the roof, demanding a referendum on Muslim immigration.

The leftist French media ignored the demonstration, seeing it as racist. But it’s clear the movement to resist radical Islam is growing in France.

Under this year’s theme that “Islam advocates peace and justice for all, an Imam from Brooklyn told last week’s parade, where [Democrat] State Sen. Tony Avello was a marshal and sat on stage, that the United Nations should pass a law that would criminalize blasphemy.”
His speech was only a warm-up for that made by an Arab woman jihadist with a British accent and poetic speech who declared, “We have the unborn martyrs in our wombs and drop bombs in here because all that we blow up is mines in minefields.
