Robert Mueller could offer no information under questioning from Rep. Jim Jordan about the investigation into the IRS for its targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exemption.

Rep. Jim Jordan: Is Mr. Cummings accurate in his assessment?

Mueller: Could you repeat that?

Jordan: Based on everything I’ve seen, quoting Mr. Cummings, “the case is solved” this is regarding the IRS scandal.

Mueller: Which case?

Jordan: The IRS scandal

Mueller: The IRS case? No, the IRS case is currently under investigation and it basically just started.

Jordan: Yeah, what can you tell us, you started a month ago. Have you found the now infamous two rogue agents, have you discovered who those people are?

Mueller: Well I needless to say because it’s under investigation I can’t give out any information.

Jordan: Can you tell me some basics, how many agents/investigators you’ve assigned to the case?

Mueller: Well, uh, I may be able to do that but I’d have to get back to you.

Jordan: Can you tell me who the lead investigator is?

Mueller: Off the top of my head, no.

Jordan: This is the most important issue in front of the country in the last six weeks and you don’t know who’s heading up the case? Who the lead investigator is?

Mueller: Uh, at this juncture no I do not know..

Jordan: Can you get that information to us we’d like to know. We’d like to know how many people you’ve assigned to look into this situation.

Mueller: I have not had a recent briefing on it, I had a briefing on it when we first initiated it, but I have not had a recent briefing as to where we are

Jordan: Who’s leading the case?

Mueller: I do not know who is leading the case.

Jordan: Do you know if you’ve talked to any of the victims, have you talked to any of the groups who were targeted by their government? Have you met with any of the Tea Party folks since May 14, 2013?

Mueller: I do not know what the status of the interviews are by the team that’s on it

Jordan: Would expect that that’s been done?

Mueller: Uh, they’re, uh… Certainly, at some point in time of course the investigation will be done but generally to start the investigation you get the documents so that you can have…

Jordan: But don’t you usually talk to the victims…

Mueller: I do not know specifically what is happening

Jordan: In your extensive record and history in investigative work, don’t you typically talk to victim? It’s a criminal investigation, don’t you talk to the victims pretty soon..

Mueller: Absolutely, and I am sure it will happen.

Jordan: So did the FBI contact any of these same victims, were they contacted by the FBI prior to the investigation when the same groups were applying for tax exemption status did the FBI pay some of these individuals a visit?

Mueller: I do not know.

Jordan: You don’t know?

Mueller: I do not know.

Jordan: Some of them testified that they were paid a visit by the FBI, specifically Catherine Engelbrecht in Texas, said she was contacted by the FBI, she was head of True the Vote. Is that true or not?

Mueller: I do not know.

Jordan: You do not know. Okay. If the FBI did contact people involved in the IRS scandal, victims groups, prior to the investigation when they were applying for tax exemption status. Why was that the case? Why would you be looking into it? And, was there possibly coordination with the IRS in why you targeted them?

Mueller: You’re asking me details about the investigation, I would be happy to get back to you. …

Jordan: I am not asking you details about the investigation. I am saying why were people targeted before the investigation started? Why were they contacted by the FBI? People who are now part of Tea Party groups who were targeted by the IRS.

Mueller: You’re asking details about the investigation. I would be happy to take your questions…

Jordan: That is not a detail about the investigation, that took place prior the investigation started.

Mueller: May I please finish, you’re asking detailed about the investigation I’d be happy to get back to you and answer those questions that I can’t understanding that there is an on-going investigation..

Jordan: I am asking you basic questions about the investigation like who’s heading it up? And you can’t tell me that.

Dereliction of duty.

Suggested question; ‘Who has directed you to evade questioning?’ Because I find it very to believe that Mueller knows nothing, that he has been kept out of the loop. His marching orders came from somewhere.

Is it any wonder that in these polling results released yesterday by Gallup, Ronald Reagan came out on top? Note the net rating percentage points of Reagan versus Obama. Quite the wide margin wouldn’t you say? In fact, take careful note of Obama’s numbers across the board. Far from stellar.

Come November 2012, vote the bastard –OUT. I don’t care who eventually wins the GOP nomination –get OUT and VOTE. Your vote will be AGAINST Obama, not for the candidate of your choice. That is the –POINT. Sure, they each have their negatives. BUT the alternative, a second term for O (a FRIGHTENING thought), should be more than enough to motivate you.

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do to save your country.

We need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago, where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords — who is doing really well, by the way, was shot. The discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular . . . has really changed, I’ll tell you. I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement. Senior campaign adviser for the Obama campaign David Axelrod calls Karl Rove and the Koch brothers “contract killers”.

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign strategist David Axelrod warned Monday that the president’s campaign would respond aggressively to the “Karl and Koch brothers’ contract killers in super PAC-land” and treat their ads as if they came from Romney himself.

Axelrod was referring to GOP strategist Karl Rove’s group American Crossroads and the billionaire Koch brothers, Charles and David, who have bankrolled several conservative political action committees. Both are expected to play a large role in attacking Obama and other Democratic candidates this year.

Portland, Oregon. October 10th, 2011. This friendly fella decided he would crash our little Tea Party gathering at Pioneer Square, (the site of previous footage memorable footage from a different event). He hurls all sorts of racist, anti white statements, calls us names, screams and yells obscenities at us. After previously consenting to being on film, which isn’t even necessary in the first place when appearing in a public park, he changes his tune near the end of the video and attacks the videographer, attempting to steal the camera in the process. His identity is unknown.

“The fact is these people are anarchists. They have no idea what they’re doing out there, they have no sense of purpose other than a basically anti-American tone and anti-capitalist. It’s a ragtag mob basically.

BUT –Surprise, surprise! An Occupy Wall Street leader is an anti-government extremist, whose “main political goal” is to” overthrow the government”.

Brian Phillips is the head of communications for the NYC General Assembly, the group primarily responsible for occupying Wall Street. I learned about him while listening to National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition.” According to NPR, Phillips is “an ex-Marine with a bachelor’s in computer science. Today he is wearing a sock on his head.”

“My political goal,” Phillips says, “is to overthrow the government.”

Note: That’s not some random nut job pulled from his Lyndon LaRouche desk or tricked-out refrigerator box/time machine. That’s the communications director for the whole shebang, and his goal is to overthrow the government.

The reason I bring this up is that I think this is extreme.

“Extreme” is a funny word these days. It’s often used by mainstream news outlets to describe the tea parties and the tea-party-friendly caucus in the GOP.

For instance, when those hotheads in tricorn hats were trying to get the government to borrow slightly less than 40 cents for every dollar Washington spends, the conventional wisdom among enlightened liberals, the Obama administration and the other usual suspects was that they were “extremists.”

Meanwhile, the sock-headed spokesman for the protesters wants to “overthrow the government.”

And yet, if you peruse NexisLexis, you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone calling him or his more radical confreres “extremists.”

But wait! There’s more! A major portion of the OWS protesters are “anarchists” and “revolutionaries”, so says an Occupy Wall Street organizer to Al Sharpton.

HARRISON SCHULTZ: I think this is the beginning of a revolution in this country.

A lot of the people that are here [protesting] are, in fact, anarchists, are, in fact, revolutionaries. Putting a revolution, putting a revolutionary change into political terms is very difficult to do because we’re trying to get away from all the problems. And we don’t really want to fix them. Vice President Joe Biden joined House Democrats in lashing tea party Republicans Monday, accusing them of having “acted like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit, according to several sources in the room.

Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting.

“We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.”

Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”

There is none so blind, as those who will not see …the forest for the trees:

Over the last three weeks, as the world has watched the spectacle of the Zuccotti Park protesters in lower Manhattan, some have been inspired and, in many cases, repulsed at the protesters occupying the park. Since the protests have now garnered the backing from the professional protesters from the AFL-CIO’s 56 unions and the SEIU, as well as implicit and explicit support from the Obama Administration and Democrats, there is more relevance to examining not just what the protesters are protesting but what they are promoting.

Democrats and union bosses who are wholeheartedly embracing the #OccupyWallSt protests should take heed: Under the system being espoused here, there is no place for you. You will be out of office, out of power, a part of the collective hive…a hive without a king or queen.

Tread carefully, Democrats and union bosses, for this is the movement you are promoting and giving legitimacy. You may embrace the call for toppling the capitalist system. Just know, however, you are part of that system and when it crumbles, so too will you.

Occupy Wall Street is a “golden opportunity” for conservatives — ripe for the picking:

Pictures of unwashed youth and probably more hygienic government workers who believe they are owed a living by the rich, which is to say by those who already pay a disproportionate share of federal income taxes, would and should be everywhere in the media.

Liberal news outlets are actually promoting the Occupy protests, blind and deaf to the double standard they are creating compared to their coverage of the Tea Party movement. But just as one can’t be angry at a puppy for peeing on the rug — it’s just what they do — it’s hard to be too angry at the addled “journalists” from whom we have learned to expect so little. Instead, at least in this case, the fact that they are so out of touch as to think that these protests are broadly popular should be used by Republicans to their advantage.

Other than the several dozen viewers of MSNBC, few consumers of TV news will look fondly at these protesters even if they share some anti-banking sentiments. Most viewers would tie the protesters to the Democratic Party and its union backers (almost the only backers the party has left, other than trial lawyers and the unemployed), a connection made much easier by those groups bear-hugging the protesters — and presumably taking a shower afterwards.

In an interview with a New Zealand television station, Mr. Phillips is living proof of Newt Gingrich’s description of the Occupiers: “I regard the Wall Street protests as a natural outcome of a bad education system teaching them really dumb ideas.”

Gingrich is exactly right, as is Herman Cain who called the protests “more anti-capitalism and anti-free market than anything else.” Even with the pro-protester bias in most “mainstream” reporting, Occupy Wall Street should be a golden opportunity for conservatives to show what a “Progressive” mindset really is: barely-tempered socialism and support for beggar-thy-neighbor policies based on a mindset of jealousy and entitlement which is, or at least until relatively recently was, anathema to the American mindset.

Conservatives don’t look this gift horse in the mouth –expose, expose, expose!
