Obama’s 2008 election “firm” campaign “pledge”:
“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”
–Candidate Barack Obama, Sept. 12, 2008

In lock step with Obama during the 2008 election, Joe Biden made the same promise:
“No one making less than $250,000 under Barack Obama’s plan will see one single penny of their tax raised whether it’s their capital gains tax, their income tax, investment tax, any tax.”
–Joe Biden, Vice-Presidential debate in St. Louis, Oct. 3, 2008
That was then; pre-ObamaCare, this is now; post-ObamaCare. As recently as last month looooong after the passage of ObamaCare, Obama continued to repeat the lie.
“So if your family makes under $250,000 — which, by the way, 98 percent of Americans do — 97 percent of small businesses do, you will not see your income taxes increase by a single dime next year. That’s my plan.

“Now, if your family makes under $250,000 — which, by the way, is 98 percent of American families and 97 percent of small businesses — under my plan, your income taxes would not increase a single dime next year. (Applause.) That’s my plan.”

“So if your family makes $250,000 a year or less — like 98 percent of Americans — you won’t see your income taxes increase by a single dime next year under my plan. Not one dime.”

ObamaCare is in DIRECT VIOLATION of Obama’s oft repeated pledge/promise:
The Congressional Budget Office on Wednesday announced that six million American families will be forced to pay the Obamacare individual mandate non-compliance penalty tax.
The six million families who will be forced to pay the tax understates the true compliance burden of the looming Obamacare individual mandate scheduled to take effect in 2014:
……
The non-compliance penalty tax will hit middle-income Americans, a violation President Obama’s “firm pledge” not to raise “any form” of tax on families making less than $250,000 per year. There are at least seven Obamacare taxes that directly hit families making less than $250,000.
Simply put:
The Supreme Court, by a 5-4 vote, ruled Obamacare was constitutional because it was a tax and, in so doing, ensured one of Obama’s central promises from 2008 was broken.
On election day; Tuesday, November 6, 2012 REPEAL Obama so that his Obama Care crap sandwich filled with MASSIVE tax increases WILL also be REPEALED.
